The East Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund (ECIHTF) is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life by offering innovative and flexible funding in order to expand affordable housing opportunities within Benton, Iowa, Jones, and Washington Counties.dksloefolki

The ECIHTF was certified as a Local Housing Trust Fund on November 10, 2010 and receved a determination of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service on March 11, 2011.

The ECIHTF Board of Directors is comprised of eight members who provide representation for each county served by the organization.
 
Meetings of the ECIHTF Board of Directors are open to the public. Meetings are typically held the last Thursday of each month, though the Board does not meet every month. Please contact the ECIHTF at (319) 365-9941 ext.139 to confirm the date and time of an upcoming meeting.

HOUSING FUNDING APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED NOW! The ECIHTF is accepting applications from qualified housing providers needing financial assistance to implement affordable housing projects that will address the mission of ECIHTF. Nonprofit, for-profit and governmental entities are eligible to apply for funding assistance from the fund of the ECIHTF for affordable housing projects located within the counties of Benton, Iowa, Jones and Washington. Individual citizens are not eligible to apply for assistance from this fund.

Priority will be given to projects that benefit households with income at or below 30% AMI.
