GIS Services ECICOG substantially expanded its GIS services to member communities in early 2008. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a digital mapping tool that planners and local government staff can use to access and create data about places. GIS is extremely flexible and customizable to meet the needs of almost any local government. While ECICOG has a variety of datasets on hand, we are also able to create data as needed either through the digitization of existing documents or through on-site inventorying.
