ECICOG was officially awarded $2 million from the EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Program (CPRG). The four-year grant award will develop and support local knowledge and capacity for climate action planning in the ECICOG region. Major deliverables include a Priority Climate Action Plan due March 1st and a Comprehensive Climate Action Plan due fall 2025. The Priority Climate Action Plan will make cities and counties in the region eligible to apply for CPRG implementation grants.
