Center Point Cuts Ribbon on new CDBG Disaster Recovery Housing Project

The City of Center Point recently had the honor of welcoming the Iowa EDA to celebrate the completion of a 42 unit housing development. ECICOG assisted the city in writing and administering the grant, which carries a stipulation that 22 of the units be for low to moderate income residents. The CDBG Disaster Recovery funds are meant to replace housing lost in the region due to natural disasters such as the 2020 derecho.
