ECICOG Staff Updates and Retirement Party!

Housing Director Tracey Achenbach will retire from ECICOG on June 6th. Help us celebrate her outstanding career at a retirement open house on May 29th from 3 pm - 6pm at Parlor City (1125 3rd Street SE, Cedar Rapids). Appetizers and a cash bar will available.

Senior Grant Specialist Paula Mitchell will become ECICOG’s Housing Director upon Tracey's retirement. Paula has served as a Senior Grant Specialist with the housing team and brings with her a wealth of local government experience in housing, grant management and planning.

The East Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund (ECIHTF) is administered by ECICOG and Housing Planner Deanna Robinson will serve as the Executive Director upon Tracey's retirement. Deanna has been a Housing Planner with ECICOG for several years and will add the role of EIHTF Executive Director to her existing work.

Sara Buck was recently hired as the first full-time Executive Director for the Housing Fund for Linn County (HFfLC). Sara has a vast background in planning and affordable housing, most recently working for the City of Cedar Rapids. While no longer proving Executive Director services for the HFfLC, ECICOG will provide office space and other support services to the non-profit.
