The Shellsburg Hometown Pride Committee recently identified the restoration of the iconic Gold Medal Flour Mural as a top priority and has launched a fundraising campaign to save the deteriorating “ghost sign.” The committee is also collaborating with Millstream Brewing Co. to produce and distribute its own brand of craft beer, “Pacesetter,” with a portion of the profits going to the mural restoration.
