Typically, ECICOG announces the application cycle for regional transportation funding, including Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and Transportation Alternative Program (TAP), on September 1. However, on Aug. 31 Iowa DOT informed ECICOG that application solicitations must be delayed while DOT makes changes resulting from the new federal transportation authorization in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). ECICOG will communicate the revised application timelines when they become available. For more information about these regional programs and project eligibility, visit the RPA 10 Application Guidance on the ECICOG website. If you have questions, please contact Mary Rump at mary.rump@ecicog.org.
