ECICOG was recently awarded a grant on behalf of the Indian Creek Watershed Management Authority (WMA) to update their watershed management plan. The plan is used to educate and guide WMA decision making for projects and practices that reduce flood risk and improve water quality within the Indian Creek watershed. ECICOG will receive $39,520 to support an estimated $91,055 project. The funding will support ECICOG staff time to update the plan and complete bacteria source tracking in the watershed.

ECICOG provides grant, planning, and administrative assistance to the Indian Creek, Middle Cedar, and Lower Cedar WMAs. For more information, please contact Environmental Specialist Alyssa Comer.
