The Region 10 Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA 10), which is staffed by ECICOG, recently announced the opportunity for local governments to apply for regional Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) funds. Eligible projects will occur in federal fiscal years 2024-2027.
The STBG program is intended to aid jurisdictions with funding for any road or bridge projects on the federal aid system. (See federal functional classification maps available online.) In RPA 10, STBG funding targets are identified for each county. During this application cycle, the four-year targets for each county range from approximately $310,000 to $2 million.
Transportation Alternatives (TA) applications are not being accepted at this time.
