TAP Program Brings New Trails to Region

The Region 10 Regional Planning Agency (RPA 10), which is staffed by ECICOG, recently awarded funding to several trails across the region. The funding comes from the Transportation Alternatives Set-aside Program, totaling $2,052,382, and will be applied to trail projects between 2025 and 2028. Below is a list of the funded projects:


Clear Creek Trail

Clear Creek Trail Extension from Tiffin to F.W. Kent Park (2.5 miles) including an underpass/tunnel across Highway 6.








Anamosa 3rd Street Sidewalk Extension
Anamosa 3rd Street Sidewalk Extension

Anamosa 3rd Street Sidewalk Extension connecting the east and west sides of Anamosa separated by Highway 151.








Grant Wood Trail
Grant Wood Trail

Grant Wood Trail from Paralta Road to Springville Road, including "dual treadway" to accommodate horseback riders and cross-county skiers.






Williamsburg Old Man's Creek trail extension, which will connect Highland Ridge Senior Living Facility to the town's business and recreation facilities safely.
