Walker Completes Goal Setting and Capital Improvement Plan

On January 4, the City of Walker completed a goal setting and capital improvement plan with help from ECICOG. The project began in September 2022 with a survey followed by interviews of city officials, and both of those activities generated ideas and potential goals for the City. The City Council, city staff, and ECICOG worked collaboratively to develop the goals and capital investments outlined in the plan, which will assist city leaders in establishing accountability, leveraging outside funding opportunities, and preparing for future public investments.
